Bavarian Endurance Battle brings generations of BMWs together in Southern California for a 12 hour endurance battle celebrating the machines, the people, and the passion that have carried the BMW legacy across generations.

Some are prepared in professional race shops. Others are built after work in garages, backyards, and barns, one bolt, one repair, one late night at a time. But when the green flag falls, where they came from no longer matters.
History does not care where greatness begins. It remembers what happens when the moment arrives.
For twelve hours, driver, team, and machine will face more than their competitors. They will face heat, fatigue, mechanical failure, strategy, doubt, and time itself.

BEB is being built around a simple belief: your passion should matter more than the size of your budget. The backyard builder should be able to line up shoulder-to-shoulder with an established BMW shop and know that both earned their place by showing up prepared.

If your BMW already runs with another grassroots or club racing organization, we do not want to make you start over.
BEB is being designed to welcome existing BMW race cars wherever practical while maintaining its own safety and technical standards. Your current car may need only limited changes—or it may already be close.

BEB regulations are being released in sections as the rulebook is developed. Teams are responsible for reviewing the latest published requirements and preparing their vehicles accordingly.
Teams must comply with both the General Vehicle Requirements and the Roll Cage Requirements where applicable.
Core vehicle safety and preparation requirements covering racing seats, harnesses, electrical systems, lighting, fuel systems, fire suppression, brakes and other mandatory vehicle equipment.
Dedicated BEB roll cage regulations covering required structure, tubing specifications, mounting, welding, door protection, roof reinforcement, rear braces, harness bars and inspection requirements.
Teams are responsible for reviewing the latest published version of all applicable BEB regulations before competition.
BEB is bigger than the starting grid. The vision includes a BMW car show, festival atmosphere, vendors, families and a paddock where enthusiasts can actually connect.

Bavarian Endurance Battle is 100% against street takeovers and illegal street racing. One of the reasons BEB exists is to help move automotive competition away from public streets and into a controlled motorsport environment where safety, preparation and responsibility matter.

Every real submission helps demonstrate demand for a BMW-only endurance event in Southern California. Publicly, every person simply counts as one Founding Grid member. Your personal interest level stays private.
Joining the Founding Grid is an expression of interest, not race registration. It helps us measure real demand and learn what BMW enthusiasts want as the event develops.
